This past week I had lunch with my daughter here in Oklahoma City. I told her about your cakes.  She looked into your web site. She and her husband enjoy watching Ace of Cakes. It surprised her that someone doing high end cakes would not use fondant. So, today I called her and asked her to take another little peak at your web site.  She grabbed her laptop, got on your site, and scrolled down on that first page.  The first thing she said was, "Um Mom, I thought he did not use fondant.  There is no way this stack of books

is in buttercream." I told her to scroll down a little and of course she found what you wrote between the two pictures of today's cake. She was shocked.  The next thing she said was, "He, or someone needs to call the Food TV network and bring that cake to their attention." I suspect others will be equally as impressed with today's creation. Just thought I would let you know that little piece of information.

Our cake was big blue and beautiful and we love love loved it! It was delicious and looked amazing! The butter cream is definitely the way to go. Scott was very professional and affordable, he never made any false promises and told us exactly what he could do. We designed our cake from various pictures in his books and it completely blew away our expectations. We definitely recommend him to everyone. Besides looking amazing, the cake was delicious, it was very moist and the filling was just as good. Our cake was completely eaten, which is an indication of how good it was!

 The cake was everything you promised it would be and more. It was a work of art that tasted so GOOD.  Everyone raved about it. I almost didn't want it cut. Thank you for taking Laura's description of her perfect cake and turning it into a reality. The cake was perfect, the wedding was great and their honeymoon was more than they could have hoped for. Thank you for your artistic contribution to my daughter's wedding. I am referring you to everyone I know. In addition to your professional workmanship, you treat your clients with respect and kind consideration during a very emotional time.

 I expected nothing less and we got it. . . .the cake was beautiful and delicious.  Got lots and lots of comments on it.  The bride and groom were thrilled.

Our daughter’s idea of cupcakes for her wedding cake was surprising.  We had never heard of anyone doing this for a wedding.  However, Scott Devol was up for the challenge!  He accepted our daughter’s input and added his own creativity. He worked closely with us and kept us informed as new thoughts and ideas developed. The results were absolutely beautiful!  Each cupcake was decorated with the wedding couple’s last initial. Their own cupcakes, for cutting, had each of their beginning initials.  The guests loved the unique display.  The hotel is planning on showcasing our “cupcake cake” in their wedding literature.

With all this, I haven’t even mentioned the taste and quality of Scott’s product.  There were so many wonderful choices to choose from that it was difficult to decide on the flavors.  Scott had an inviting taste session where we finally chose the cinnamon cake w/ cinnamon frosting, and the almond cake w/ mocha frosting.   I’m sure anything we chose would have been just as delicious.  The frosting was not too sweet and overpowering, but smooth and creamy. The cake was delicate and moist.  The next day family and friends were asking if I had any of those delicious cupcakes left. (I had 2 hidden in the refrigerator for myself!)

It has been 2 weeks since our daughter’s wedding.  But, it only took 2 days for our friends to book their wedding cake with Scott!  I am already placing an order for my niece’s baby shower, and yes, it is for cupcakes!!  Scott Devol will be our “cake man” for as long as he continues to bake.

 The cake for my wedding was gorgeous! Exactly what I wanted and delicious! All the guests loved it, and I had a few guests ask to take some home. The most delicous cake I have ever tasted! It is amazing how wonderful of a job he does with buttercream (no one could have guessed that it was made without fondant). I actually had one guest eat four pieces ha ha. Definitely recommend his services. If my family or I need any cakes in the future, he is definitely the only baker I will go to.

I can not say enough about about how satisfied I was with Scott at & Eat It, Too! I was able to meet him in his home and taste first hand the wonderful selection of buttercream frostings and cake choices he offered. Scott also made a drawing of the cake that I chose for our wedding reflecting exactly what I told him. What was more amazing is the fact that I change my decision at the last moment in regards to the decor of the cake and he made it happen. Not to mention that the change I made was a pattern he never created before and it he did a fabulous job on it. When I walked in to the reception hall after the wedding, the first place I went to was the cake table...I was in tears! It was soo gorgeous and perfect! I cannot say enough about how compliments I received on my cake choice for it looked amazing and tasted amazing too!

We would like to say that the cake was above and beyond of what we were expecting.  Scott gave us everything we wanted for my our baby shower with the unique design he created. We were so in love with our cake we didn't even want to cut it!!  Not only was the cake beautiful but it tasted amazing, everything blended well.  We would recommend Scott to anyone we came across looking for that special cake.  You definitely get a one of a kind type of cake and it's nice to know that no one will have a cake like yours.  We can't wait to work with him again in the future.  Once again thank you so much for all your hard work and time you put into the cake.

 Well, let me just tell you the cupcakes you made for my Daughters graduation were a big hit. Everything from the colors to the beautiful display was just perfect. I must admit I was a little worried about the set-up, but it all went so smooth. It was also nice not to have to cut a cake (one less thing to do) so I could enjoy the party a little more. You really helped in making her day special. Thank you again.

I wanted to say thank you for such a wonderful cake. Not only was it beautiful, it tasted amazing! I would also like to say that Scott was so helpful with the planning and designing of the cake. It is exactly what I envisioned and more. It fit our Christmas theme reception perfectly.  He even made snowmen people for our bride and groom topper.  I could have not been more pleased. I can't tell you how great it was walking into our reception and seeing the cake just how I imagined it, yet even better! The cake fit our Christmas themed wedding perfectly and I will be recommending you to any friends I have that are getting married. The edible pinecones looked so elegant and tasted delicious! At the end of the night there was hardly any cake to take home because everyone loved it!

Our cake was absolutely magnificent!Everyone was raving about the flavors, especially the banana with banana frosting.My brother even RAN in the house today looking for banana left overs.Of course, we only have a few slices left over since it was so yummy!Thanks again for all of your hard work.  You really went the extra mile to make this cake special for our special day.

 Scott recently baked a cake for our wedding reception. My husband and I really enjoyed working with him. He listened to our ideas and helped to put them into action. Neither my husband nor I are huge cake people, so he worked with us to incorporate cheesecake into our cake. From the outside it still looked like a gorgeous, traditional wedding cake!
Not only was the cake pretty, but it tasted delicious, too. Don't shy away because he does not use fondant. The taste of his butter cream is too good not to use (and I'm not a big icing fan) and he smooths out the icing so well that you really can't tell it's not fondant until you bite into the cake.
Scott provided us with tons of options in terms of fillings, icings, cake flavors, and cheesecake flavors, and even offered us two tastings given our unique cake design. The regular cake tasting was free (he presented us with two plates loaded to the brim with options). Scott charged us a small fee for the cheesecake tasting, but he gave us the two four-inch cakes (two flavors in each) to take home.
I would definitely work with Scott again, and I highly recommend him (as do all of the guests from my reception!).

 Scott created a fantastic cake for my daughter's baby shower. We had sent a picture of the "Sweet Pea" theme that was to be used for the plates, napkins, centerpieces, and banner. Scott designed the three tier cake based on the colors and pictures that were sent to him. Each layer of the cake and fillings were different but Scott chose the icing and intensity of flavors that blended perfectly and were deliciously moist. The guests truly appreciated the appearance and raved about the taste of the cake. Imagine how striking the event was with the coordinating colors and theme. Scott is very creative, open minded, and a joy to work with!

 Hi Scott, I was at the Jared Levian event today in Canton, OH and had a chance to taste your delicious cakes. I was completely blown away my what I saw and what I tasted! I actually was shopping for my future engagement ring with my boyfriend, and he couldn't agree with me more. I took your card, and just wanted to give you the heads up: you'll be hearing from me for a tasting in the next year or so!

We had a cake as the centerpiece on every table, 5 different flavors. Our guests are still raving about how delicious the cakes were (almost nothing left!) and how absolutely beautiful they looked. Scott was very responsive and very creative. Each table had a card describing the cake flavor and also the flavor of the cakes on the other tables along with cutting instructions. Our guests cut their cakes at the same time we cut ours and it was a lot of fun!! We're very grateful that we were able to rely on Scott to make this part of our day so special and memorable.

Scott- Thank you SO MUCH for the beautiful cake! It came out even better than I expected! Everyone at the reception ate it within a blink of an eye, so not only was it beautiful, but tasty too! I will always remember my wedding cake and how lovely it was, and I have you to thank for that! You really do an amazing job. Thank you so much the beautiful cake. It was everything I imagined it would be. The cake was very moist and tasted great. Everyone loved the Key Lime filling with the coconut.  The butter cream/lime icing was very good.  I love the way you designed it, drew it out and then made it happen. Thanks for the beautiful cakes! All of the flavors tasted great. We received many compliments on howbeautiful and unique the presentation was. I really don't know of anything we would have done differently. Several people commented that the icing looked like fondant and one lady said the cakes looked like giant petits fours! Scott was absolutely wonderful to work with. We were so impressed with his presentation when we had our first appointment to choose a cake. He is very fun to work with and is not high pressure at all. He made the whole experience very enjoyable. He is very accommodating for whatever situation you may have. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is considering a cake for a special occasion whether it be wedding, birthday, anniversary or whatever. Oh, and by the way, the cake was delicious.
